These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in any Brilo Game live online trivia competition (“Event”). By purchasing a ticket or participating in an Event, you (“Player”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Event is operated by Brilo Game (“we”, “us”, “our”). Brilo Game offers online competitions to participants across Australia.


1. Eligibility

1.1 Players must be 18 years of age or older.
1.2 Players must be
Australian residents or citizens.
1.3 By purchasing or accepting a ticket, Players confirm they meet all eligibility requirements.
1.4 Gift Ticket buyers are fully responsible for ensuring the gift recipient meets all eligibility requirements.


2. One Entry Per Person

2.1 Each Player may only use one ticket per Event.
2.2 Players must join the game using the
same email address provided at the time of purchase.
2.3 Using multiple tickets, multiple email addresses, multiple devices, or any method intended to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
2.4 Violation of these rules will result in
immediate disqualification without refund.
2.5 Brilo Game reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity and disqualify any Player at our discretion.


3. Joining the Event

3.1 A link to join the live game (“Join Link”) will be emailed to the Player before the Event.
3.2 The Player is responsible for ensuring their email address is entered correctly at purchase.
3.3 Brilo Game is not responsible for:

  • Misspelled email addresses

  • Emails landing in spam/junk folders

  • Delays caused by the Player’s email service

  • Failure to check email
    3.4 If a Player cannot join due to incorrect email entry or technical issues,
    no refund will be provided.


4. Player Identifier (Identity Verification)

4.1 All Players must enter a Player Identifier when completing their order.
4.2 The Player Identifier must be the Player’s
legal first and last name with no spaces (example: JohnSmith).
4.3 This identifier must match the name on the Player’s government-issued ID during winner verification.
4.4 Failure to enter the correct Player Identifier may result in inability to verify identity and subsequent loss of eligibility to claim the prize.
4.5 Player Identifiers are
not displayed publicly during the Event.


5. Conduct and Fair Play

5.1 Players must participate using:

  • One device

  • One ticket

  • Their own internet connection

  • Their own Player Identifier

5.2 The following behaviours result in immediate disqualification without refund:

  • Cheating, screen sharing, or external assistance

  • Using multiple devices or multiple active sessions

  • Using multiple email addresses to attempt multiple entries

  • Joining the Event using someone else’s link or account

  • Abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour

  • Providing false information during verification

  • Attempting to manipulate gameplay, scoring, or outcomes

5.3 Brilo Game retains full discretion to remove any Player whose behaviour compromises fair play, even if the conduct is not explicitly listed here.


6. Trivia Questions, Scoring, and Disputes

6.1 All questions, answers, timing, and scoring are managed through Kahoot’s automated system.
6.2
Kahoot scoring and leaderboard results are final and cannot be appealed.
6.3 Brilo Game is not responsible for:

  • Perceived inaccuracies in questions or answers

  • Differences in interpretation of questions

  • Claims that the Player “selected the correct answer but it did not register”

  • Device delays, app lag, or internet latency

  • Any score discrepancies caused by device performance

6.4 No refunds, compensation, or adjustments will be made due to question disputes, scoring disputes, or technical issues on the Player’s side.
6.5 Brilo Game retains full discretion regarding question accuracy and game outcomes.


7. Prize and Winner Verification

7.1 The Player with the highest score on the final Kahoot leaderboard is the provisional winner.
7.2 The provisional winner must successfully complete verification to claim the prize.
7.3 Verification includes providing a
government-issued ID showing:

  • Full legal name

  • Date of birth (18+ requirement)

  • Australian residential address or residency status

7.4 The name on the ID must match both:

  • The Player Identifier used in the game

  • The Eventbrite ticket information

7.5 The provisional winner must also provide their Eventbrite order confirmation.
7.6 Failure to provide matching verification will result in disqualification, and the prize will be offered to the next eligible Player.
7.7 Verification must be completed within the timeframe specified in the winner notification email.


8. Prize Payment

8.1 Prizes are paid via bank transfer, processed through Brilo Game’s Revolut business account.
8.2 The winner must provide accurate Australian bank account details.
8.3 At no time will Brilo Game share personal or banking information with the Player.
8.4 Prize payments are processed within
24–48 hours after successful verification.
8.5 Brilo Game is
not liable for:

  • Delays caused by Revolut

  • Delays caused by the winner’s bank

  • Public holiday processing delays

  • Fraud checks

  • Incorrect account details supplied by the winner

  • Any third-party banking failures

8.6 Once Brilo Game submits the payment to the bank details provided, its prize obligation is fulfilled.


9. Refund Policy

9.1 No refunds will be issued for:

  • Change of mind

  • Inability to join the Event

  • Incorrect email entry

  • Technical or device issues

  • Internet connection problems

  • Game performance issues

  • Question or scoring disputes

9.2 Refunds are issued only if Brilo Game cancels the Event.
9.3 If the Event proceeds under any circumstances, refunds will not be offered.


10. Technical Requirements and Limitations

10.1 Players are responsible for ensuring they have:

  • A functioning device

  • A stable internet connection

  • Browser or app access for joining the game

  • Ability to receive email communications

10.2 Brilo Game is not responsible for:

  • Device failure

  • Battery issues

  • Internet outages

  • Email delivery delays

  • Kahoot outages or server problems

  • Player errors in navigating the platform

10.3 Participation is at the Player’s own risk.


11. Data Collection and Storage

11.1 Brilo Game collects information necessary to operate the Event, including:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Player Identifier

  • Ticket information

  • Winner verification details (for winners only)

11.2 Data is stored securely for up to 90 days for verification, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and accounting.
11.3 After 90 days, data is permanently deleted unless required for legal reasons.


12. Indemnity

12.1 By participating in the Event, Players agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brilo Game from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:

  • Player misconduct

  • Technical issues

  • Incorrect information provided

  • Failure to join or complete the Event

  • Disqualification

  • Winner verification failure

  • Third-party platform issues (Kahoot, Eventbrite, email services, Revolut)


13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws, and Players agree to resolve disputes through Australian jurisdiction.
13.2 This clause governs legal interpretation only; the Event itself is conducted online and is accessible to eligible participants throughout Australia.
